Traille heads to Biarritz

France centre Damien Traille has quit club side Pau to sign for Biarritz.

Traille, who played a part as France regained the RBS 6 Nations Championship earlier this year, insisted that he had only left Pau for sporting reasons.

I wanted to play for a club at the top level in France and in Europe, Traille said to www.lequipe.fr.

This club will permit me a certain stability at the top level until the 2007 World Cup.

At Biarritz I will be under more pressure because there is more competition and it is possible that at Pau I was a little too confident.
