England World Cup winner Mike Catt is set to leave Premiership leaders Bath at the end of this season.
Long-serving utility back Catt, who featured against France and Wales in the 2004 RBS 6 Nations, admits he is disappointed at having to call time on his 12-year career at the Recreation Ground.
If it all means another adventure then Ill get on with it in the same manner that I did when first coming here all those years ago, Catt told The Daily Telegraph.
The decision to leave Bath has been taken out of my hands in that there simply isnt that much on the table from their end.
Of course, Id rather stay but Ive got a young family and a mortgage and have to weigh up those considerations very carefully.
Catt has had his injury troubles in recent times but is confident he could have had two or three more good seasons with Bath, had things turned out differently.
Its been disappointing the way things have gone. I dont agree with the clubs reasoning.
With Bath in the Heineken Cup next season, you might have thought that my sort of experience would be useful.
