Former France captain Fabien Galthie has played down reports linking him with the position of assistant coach at his former club Stade Francais, but has not ruled out a return to the Parisian giants.
Galthie retired from both domestic and international rugby following Frances fourth-place finish at the World Cup in Australia last autumn.
Since then he has been working as a commentator as well as helping promote the sport.
Although Galthie admits he would be interested in taking up a coaching position in the future, the former scrum-half has made it clear that such a move is not on his agenda - for the time being at least.
For now there is nothing happening with Stade Francais, he told LEquipe.
I am extremely busy with my present work."
Asked whether he would like to become a coach in the near future with Stade, he added: There are already coaches in place and I cant see how I would be back on the bench very fast.
But coaching at some point in my career is very tempting. Next year? I dont know, it would be necessary to ask the Stade Francais managers first.
I am very much attached to that club as well as to its president (Max Guazzini), its staff, including (coach) Nick Mallett, and the supporters.
