Bath captain Danny Grewcock has signed a new two-year contract with the Premiership leaders.
The England and Lions lock has agreed terms that will keep him on Baths books until at least May 2006.
Grewcock, despite missing the majority of Englands World Cup campaign through toe and hand injuries, has returned to Premiership rugby and proved an instrumental figure behind Baths title push.
I am delighted to be signing a new two-year deal, said Grewcock, who has won 47 England caps and was a Test Lion in Australia three years ago.
The structure at Bath is very good, we have some great coaches and players, and I feel that the set-up is conducive to a side that is on the way up.
I am enjoying my rugby at the moment, and I am looking forward to next season when we will be competing in the European Cup.
I feel that as a club, we can continue to improve.
Bath rugby director Jack Rowell added: Danny has been at the very heart of Bath for several years now, and has shown outstanding form in a resurgent side this season.
Danny has become a formidable presence, both for Bath and his country, and leads by example every time he takes to the field.
Grewcock follows Olly Barkley, Steve Borthwick, Jonathan Humphreys, Andy Beattie, James Scaysbrook, Alex Crockett, Spencer Davey, Gareth Delve, Rob Hawkins and James Hudson in signing new contracts with the west country club.
