French stars set for Scarlets date

Members of France's RBS 6 Nations Grand Slam-winning team will be out in force on Friday night when Biarritz take on Llanelli Scarlets in the European Cup quarter-finals at Stradey Park.

Nicolas Brusque, Julien Peyrelongue, Dimitri Yachvili, Serge Betsen and Thomas Lievremont all played some part as France finished the recent RBS 6 Nations campaign with five wins from five.

And the quintet will be hoping to carry that success into Friday nights match in Wales after being named in the starting line-up for Biarritz.

Biarritz team: N Brusque; P Bidabe, M Gaitan, J Isaac, J Marlu, J Peyrelongue, D Yachvili; P Balan, J-M Gonzalez, D Avril, H Manent, D Couzinet, S Betsen, O Tonita, T Lievremont (captain).
Replacements: J Campo, M Fitzgerald, S Puleoto, O Nauroy, D Chouchan or C Milheres, P Bernat-Salles, L Mazas.
