Both front rowers had been included in the squad for Lansdowne Road - tighthead Hayes starts the game with Horan providing cover from the bench - but were subject to late fitness tests.

Coach Eddie OSullivan said: John and Marcus are both fit to play - theyve had the necessary tests and are good to go.

John was a doubt during the week with a muscle spasm on his hip which he picked up against Italy.

He was feeling very uncomfortable but as the week went on the problem loosened out and hes come through in the last 48 hours.

Marcus shoulder was sore earlier in the week but hes also shown a big improvement. These type of injuries can drag on but theyve both made full recoveries.
