Harinordoquy doubtful for France

France do not yet know whether they will be able to count on the services of Imanol Harinordoquy for Sunday's RBS 6 Nations match with Scotland at Murrayfield.

The Pau back-row forward left the field during Saturdays home defeat by Castres with a painful elbow injury but medical examinations carried out by his club failed to reveal the source of the problem.

The rampaging Basque back-row is rated as one of the best in the world in his position and his loss would be a blow to Les Bleus who are the only team still able to win the Grand Slam.

After France meet Scotland, they then face world champions England in their final match at the Stade de France.
