Parks set for Scotland call

Glasgow Warriors have been asked to rest Dan Parks for their weekend game against The Borders by Scotland head coach Matt Williams.

The 25-year-old stand-off was in great form for Hugh Campbells team last week with an 18-point haul in the 48-20 triumph over top-of-the-table Gwent Dragons.

Now Parks looks set for action in the daunting RBS 6 Nations clash with France at Murrayfield next weekend.

Jon Petrie and Andrew Henderson have been released from the Scotland squad to play against The Borders.

The pair played only as replacements for the last few minutes of the international defeat against Italy last weekend.
