Wales will be back at the Millennium Stadium - scene of an impressive victory over Scotland last month - on Sunday to greet a title-chasing French outfit.

And while Les Bleus are favourites for a third successive championship win this season, McBryde has no doubt Wales can still make an impact on the tournament.

Coach Steve Hansen has made four changes from the side demolished 36-15 in Dublin, including three up front, where prop Gethin Jenkins, lock Michael Owen and fit-again skipper Colin Charvis all feature.

But there has been no pressing of panic buttons in the Welsh camp, with a collective belief that they can bounce back, despite France and England looming as their next Six Nations opponents.

There was nobody more disappointed than we were with our performance in Dublin," said the 32 times-capped Llanelli Scarlets hooker.

"But we dont want to get too bogged down by the loss. Yes, there are lessons to be learned, but lets not go from one end of the spectrum to the other in just one match - there are three games left for us in this championship."

The French though, will undoubtedly target the same areas of Wales forward game as Ireland did, and McBryde says his team-mates must be ready.

"They have got a pretty formidable pack, and they are obviously going to target the weaker areas of our game that were exposed against Ireland, which are perhaps the French strengths - the scrum and driving lineouts," he added.

"I think its obvious that any team are going to target a weakness, but the French are strong in those areas anyway."
