Scotland are the next barrier between Sir Clive Woodward and his second-successive Grand Slam but barring an upset of seismic proportions, England should march on towards another RBS 6 Nations title.

Sale Sharks star Robinson, switched to centre from his traditional position out on the wing, led the charge with his three-try salvo and is relishing the prospect of another run-out in Englands midfield.

Ive played at centre a few times, its not my most natural position but I do enjoy it. Before the Italy match people were asking me what my best position was, whether it was wing or full-back, he said.

The British Lions tour in 2001 went extremely well when I was playing on the wing, but then Ive had some great games for England at full-back. Then on Saturday I had one of those days when everything seemed to go right.

The main thing about playing centre is getting the ball in hand. The more times I get the ball, the more opportunities I have to make an impact and thats what I like doing.

It was great to finish those three opportunities but theres still a lot to work on. Now I have to concentrate on Scotland and put in another performance.

Robinsons Sale team-mate Chris Jones will win his first England start - he scored as a substitute on his debut against Italy last weekend - after being named alongside Lawrence Dallaglio and Richard Hill in the back row.

And Robinson expects the 23-year-old Sharks forward to give further confirmation of his rich potential against the Scots - and saluted Woodward for his bold selection policy.

I think Chris has come on leaps and bounds over the last 12 months, hes still only a young lad. One of the things that surprises me is his pace - Ive seem him outrun wingers, said Robinson.

He was given his opportunity last week and took it. Now hes been given another chance and Im sure he will do well. Im not surprised hes come on so quickly - Ive seen him on a weekly basis.

Hes just been introduced to the international scene but thats one of the great things about being in this team - Clive picks players on form, whatever their age.
