Coghlan pays tribute to free-scoring Miller

Ireland Women's captain Fiona Coghlan paid tribute to lethal finisher Alison Miller after her side clinched a first ever RBS 6 Nations Triple Crown before turning her attentions to next week's clash with France.
Miller bagged two tries in Ireland’s 30-3 win over Scotland, taking her tally to five in her last two matches, as Coghlan and co followed up victories over Wales and England to seal the Triple Crown.

In doing so, Ireland cemented their place at next year’s World Cup and they are now just two wins away from an historic RBS 6 Nations Grand Slam.

The first obstacle is a sizeable one however with les Bleues full of confidence following their victory over England at Twickenham.

But Coghlan insists her side will not take their foot of the pedal as they look to make it four wins from four, admitting Miller will be looking to continue her rampant form.

“If you put Ali into any sort of space she’s going to finish it off, she’s a very powerful athlete but still it’s the team who get her into that space so hats off to everyone,” said Coghlan.

“France are a phenomenal team, they can turn things on and when they do they’re very hard to stop so we’ll look at them and still focus on the way we play, but try and stop them too.

“At the start of the season we didn’t see this coming so I’m really chuffed with all the girls and the management staff.”
