Jacques Brunel saw his Italy side slip to a second-successive RBS 6 Nations defeat to Wales
Brunel admits Wales were the better side

Jacques Brunel admitted he could have no qualms about Italy's RBS 6 Nations defeat at the hands of Wales as his side slipped to their second successive loss of the campaign.
The Azzurri hosted Wales looking for a repeat of their last outing at Stadio Olimpico that saw them down France in their RBS 6 Nations opener.

But it wasn’t to be as Jonathan Davies and Alex Cuthbert crossed for tries and Leigh Halfpenny kicked 16 points in a 26-9 Wales win, two weeks after Brunel’s men were outclassed in Scotland.

Italy were reduced to just three penalties from Kris Burton and head coach Brunel insisted Wales were just far more clinical than his side.

He said: "I don't think the problem was our ability to play, we just didn't manage the game very well.

"Wales were a lot more precise than us.

"That was the difference, Wales were more efficient. Our game just wasn't there."
