I think it was a good performance by England in their opening RBS 6 Nations game against Italy, and I think Sir Clive Woodward will have been pleased with what he saw.
Lawrence Dallaglio did a good job in his first game back as captain but I never really had any doubts about that. Hes a top-class player who is willing to put his body on the line.
Another plus point was the performance of Paul Grayson, who kicked well and showed a bit of flair for his try.
Jason Robinson moved to centre and showed everyone what a superb player he is. Im sure the likes of France, Ireland and Wales will test him more defensively but his ability in one-on-one situations is incredible.
He also creates chances for others. Sir Clive got it right against Italy with enforced changes and positional ones.
Chris Jones replaces Joe Worsley against Scotland and he is a highly-rated player, but the competition is that great that he has got to take his chance.
Scotland have a capable pack but their backline is inexperienced and they dont have a big enough pool of players to choose from.
Scotlands only hope is the Murrayfield factor and they need to break the game up against England. It is essential that they get a good start because they could be on the end of a hiding if they dont.
