Tommy Seymour's form for Glasgow has marked him out as a possible RBS 6 Nations starter
Scotland winger Seymour to extend stay with Glasgow Warriors

Scotland winger Tommy Seymour has signed a new, two-year deal with Glasgow Warriors that will keep him at Scotstoun until 2015.
The US-born winger heads the scoring charts for the Warriors this season and a rich vein of form led to his first call-up to the Scotland squad ahead of the autumn international series in November.

While the 24-year-old has yet to make his debut for his country, scoring back-to-back doubles against Benetton Treviso and the Dragons have made the winger a serious contender for a starting berth during next year’s RBS 6 Nations.

“I said when I joined Glasgow that it was a little like coming home because of the family connection and I’m really settled here,” said Seymour, who moved to Glasgow from Ulster in 2011 and qualifies for Scotland through his mother.

“The way the squad and team are developing is a massive factor in staying on because the players and coaches here do believe that we’re building towards something special.

“It’s an exciting place to be at the moment and even though the results don’t always go your way, we know we’re headed in the right direction.

“I came here to play regular rugby and to get that call-up to the Scotland squad was a real vindication of the hard work though I know, given the talent that is now in the Warriors squad, that I have to keep at it and keep trying to get better.”
