The Official Online RBS 6 Nations Store is open. The store has everything you need to get behind your team during the RBS 6 Nations, plus the store is now fully stocked with a much wider range of rugby merchandise.
But despite that win, Harinordoquy – who featured in every game of France’s RBS 6 Nations campaign – is taking nothing for granted, with four games remaining in the Top 14.
He said: “We’re still a long way from being safe. In every game you have to pick up vital points. We’re in survival mode, which wasn’t necessarily the case a few weeks ago. We’ve never had to cope with this before and it’s been difficult for a few people.
“I didn’t think it would be quite as tough as it has been. When you play with so much negative pressure it restricts your potential and the team’s performance.
“There were several games where the team played poorly, where everyone was scared to do the wrong thing and make a mistake.
“It’s not tiring from a physical point of view, but mentally and in terms of the nerves, it’s tough. I’m not going to say it’s affecting my health but it’s tough. It takes up so much energy. You can’t let your arms drop.
“We’re going with energy and desire. Now and again we play a bit all over the place but in terms of the team spirit, everyone is giving 200 per cent. Our lives have to be dedicated towards the end of this season, we have no excuse.”
