And, after discussions with the SRU, it has been announced the former England coach is to stay in his role.
His contract runs up to the 2015 Rugby World Cup and an SRU statement said: “(SRU chief executive) Mark Dodson and Andy Robinson met on Thursday for discussions following the RBS 6 Nations.
“The discussions were positive and concluded that Andy will continue to lead the Scotland national team with the support of his revised coaching structure.”
That revised coaching structure will see former Ospreys director of coaching Scott Johnson take up his role as senior assistant coach, Matt Taylor as defence coach and Gregor Townsend and Graham Steadman heading for the exit.
Townsend is to replace Sean Lineen as Glasgow Warriors head coach as of next season, with Taylor his No. 2.
Scotland's RBS 6 Nations troubles in 2012 compounded a miserable run of results for Robinson - the Italy reverse made it 12 Six Nations defeats in 15 matches under the 47-year-old.
