The Welsh Rugby Union are yet to indicate when they plan to announce the successor to Wales head coach Steve Hansen.
Kiwi Hansen is due to step down at the end of the RBS 6 Nations and the WRU were hoping to announce his successor before the start of this year's tournament.
The WRU are currently in the process of drawing up a shortlist from the number of applications received for the job.
