And the one that all Italian fans will be most excited about is a returning Bergamasco, the wing set to win his 86th cap in his first start since leaving the World Cup needing shoulder surgery.

And while he admits Italy are playing for nothing more than pride at this stage, Bergamasco insists they will fight all the way to the finish.

"We're motivated, we still have two weeks to go. We know we can't win (the competition) but we need to have two great performances," said Bergamasco.

"Especially in Wales where it will be very hard as they're the best team on paper.

"We must put them in difficulty. It depends on us, we want to make up for the Ireland performance and finish in the best way possible.

"It's important for everyone to show his worth and to give the coach choices to make in the future."
