Mike Ruddock
Ireland Under-20s coach looking to make it four wins from four against Scotland

Ruddock: We're not underestimating the Scots

Ireland Under-20s coach Mike Ruddock insists his team selection reflects the respect he has for the size of the task his troops face against Scotland.
Ruddock, whose side have won their opening three RBS 6 Nations matches, took the opportunity to shuffle his pack in the win against Italy last time out but has welcomed back some familiar faces for the Scottish showdown.

Luke McGrath takes the No. 9 jersey while the pack has been re-jigged with James Rael joining Peter Reilly and Kyle McCall in the front row.

Iain Henderson moves from five to four and will partner Danny Qualter while the back row has a fresh face in the shape of Aaron Conneely.

On the bench Callum O’Connell takes his place in the 22 for the first time and Ruddock said: “We have reinstated a few of the lads that were involved in the win against France; we felt that they deserved to come back into the equation for this test.

“We certainly don’t underestimate the Scottish side, I have looked at their tapes and realise that our defence are going to have to work very hard to stop them crossing the line.

“We have prepared to the best of our ability and are ready to front up to a very talented Scotland team.”
