Hodgson worry for England
18 January 2004, 6:24 pm
England coach Sir Clive Woodward could be missing two fly-halves for the RBS 6 Nations opener against Italy after Jonny Wlikinson's deputy Charlie Hodgson was injured in club action.
First-choice and vice-captain Wilkinson is still nursing an injured shoulder and Sale number 10 Hodgson suffered a reoccurrence of a knee injury in the Sharks' European Cup defeat by Leinster.

Hodgson was replaced in the 35th minute and Sale coach Jim Mallinder confirmed:
"It is the same knee. He actually took a bang on it last week and it took three or four days to clear. Unfortunately, he got another bang on it today.

"We are going to have to have a look at it. If he is struggling, he will go for a scan and we'll take it from there."
