We must rise to Italy challenge insists Walker

England Under-20s captain Chris Walker insists they need 15 leaders when they clash with Italy on Saturday as they look to maintain their perfect start to the RBS 6 Nations.
Rob Hunter’s side are looking to retain their title and after victories over Scotland and Wales they welcome back Scott Spurling, Matt Kvesic, Henry Slade, Will Skuse and Marland Yarde to the starting XV.

Despite running in 99 points so far in the RBS 6 Nations Walker has warned his teammates to be on their mettle when they arrive in Rovigo or face up to life without a possible Grand Slam.

He said: “We’ve got some real leaders in this side, Dan Robson in particular has been motivating the boys well and we can’t wait for the game.

“It’s great to welcome experienced guys like Matt Kvesic back into the mix and that kind of competition can only be good for the squad.

“We’re looking forward to actually getting out there and playing. It was frustrating having the game called off last time, but we’re ready and focused on the job in hand.

"We know that Italy will provide a strong threat - they have some exciting players, but if we all stick to our tasks then I’m confident we can go out there and give a good account of ourselves."
