MEDIA RELEASE FROM SCOTTISH RUGBY - Rory Lamont
1 March 2012, 5:06 pm
By Hashim Piperdy
ISSUED ON BEHALF OF THE SCOTTISH RUGBY UNION
Scotland back Rory Lamont has undergone surgery following the broken leg he sustained in Sunday's RBS 6 Nations Championship match against France at Murrayfield.
Scotland team doctor James Robson told www.scottishrugby.org today: “Rory is comfortable. His convalescence will get underway at once. Injuries of this nature require typically three to four months of rehabilitation. We all wish Rory a speedy recovery.”
