Twickenham gives England the edge insists Jones

Wales prop Adam Jones insists England remain favourites ahead of their Triple Crown clash this Saturday despite an impressive start to the RBS 6 Nations from Warren Gatland's side.
Following on from their 23-21 win over Ireland on the opening weekend, World Cup semi-finalists Wales disposed of Scotland 27-13 on Sunday and while fans will be dreaming of a repeat of the 2008 Grand Slam, Jones has his feet firmly on the ground.

The Ospreys forward has been impressed by the start Stuart Lancaster’s side have made and their hard-fought 19-15 win in Italy on Saturday made it two wins from two for the Red Rose.

And while it’s very much a new-look England, Jones is adamant that a trip to Twickenham is never an easy task.

"We’re not favourites, not at Twickenham,” said the 30-year-old.

“Whenever England play there they are favourites. They're a tough side, their young and have good new coaches. They've just beaten Italy, who are a good side and will be a big challenge.

"But we will go there with confidence - going to Twickenham to win the Triple Crown is an exciting prospect.

“It will be a tough game, England are quite a young team now and they have a new coach, but the boys are looking forward to it.

“I am sure the nation will be revved up again and I am pretty sure we will be the only sane ones left.

“It is great to give the fans something to talk about rather than them thinking ‘here we are again, another fourth-place finish.”
