Clive Woodward insists he is expecting a tough challenge from the Scots but reality suggests the England boss has nothing to fear - especially at HQ where his team are virtually unbeatable.

There are five changes to the side which laboured to a 40-5 victory over Italy, with Martin Johnson, Jason Robinson, Ben Cohen, Jason Leonard and Neil Back all making their return.

With Robinson and Cohen taking their place on the wings and the explosive Josh Lewsey continuing at full-back, England's back three will be a particular source of worry to Scotland coach Ian McGeechan.

And with the likes of Johnson, Ben Kay and Richard Hill in the forwards, they will have plenty of ball to play with.

Scotland's strength lies up-front where they have a skilful and mobile pack with number eight Simon Taylor the pick of the bunch.

The Edinburgh forward has been the most consistent back rower in the championship and expect him to give further indication of his prodigious talent against England.

But Scotland have struggled behind the scrum where McGeechan has made several changes in an attempt to uncover the winning formula.

Veteran Gregor Townsend performed well against Wales while winger Chris Paterson has shown he can play - and kick - but there is a lack of penetration in the midfield and poor finishing is still a concern.
