Youngs desperate to send Scotland home

England scrum-half Ben Youngs admits there's nothing he'd rather do than send Scotland packing from the World Cup in New Zealand and believes all the pressure is on Andy Robinson's side.
Having crashed to a narrow 13-12 defeat to 2007 third-placers Argentina, Scotland must beat England by eight points or more to reach the quarter-finals in Saturday’s Pool B clash at Eden Park.

Victory for Youngs and co meanwhile, would guarantee progress to the last eight as pool winners and book a likely clash with France with a potential semi-final against Ireland or Wales in the pipeline.

And Youngs, who scored England’s decisive try against the Pumas and also crossed in the 67-3 demolition of Romania, believes Scotland have it all to do.

“They’ve got to beat us by eight and so they have to chuck the ball around but traditionally they don’t do that,” said Youngs.

“We’ve got our game plan and hopefully that will be enough but I think the pressure is on Scotland.

“It’s England versus Scotland and I’m sure they want to knock us out but as an Englishman I couldn’t think of anything better than beating Scotland.

“To win we need to play in the right areas of the pitch and put them under pressure. We need to stick to the game plan and make sure we keep hold of the ball.”
