Prop Allan Jacobsen, flanker Kelly Brown along with wingers Max Evans and Sean Lamont are the only players to retain their places in the side that needed two late tries to down the valiant Oaks.
And while many of those changes were pre-planned, Robinson is still adamant that he is seeking a vast improvement from their opening display.
He said: “The selection is based on the four-day turnaround from Saturday's match and is about us continuing our winning start to the tournament with a victory over Georgia.
“We spoke before the tournament about the need to utilise our squad over these opening two games given the proximity of the fixtures and that is what we have done.
“Of course we will look for considerable improvement on our display at the weekend, particularly in our discipline at the breakdown, an area where we have been consistently good in recent times. We simply must not give away cheap three points.”
Gloucester scrum-half Rory Lawson takes over the captaincy from Alastair Kellock who drops out of the squad and partners Dan Parks at half backs.
Lamont moves to the wing to partner his brother Rory in the back three alongside Max Evans while a Graeme Morrison and Nick De Luca form a new centre pairing.
In the back row, Brown moves to No.8 to accommodate the inclusion of Ross Rennie and Alasdair Strokosch.
Nathan Hines and Jim Hamilton are in the boiler room while Jacobsen packs down in the front row alongside hooker Scott Lawson and tighthead Euan Murray.
