The 26-year-old flanker, who was outstanding as England lifted the 2011 RBS 6 Nations, announced at the weekend that he will return to Wasps in 2012 on a three-year deal.
Haskell is expected to be a key figure for Johnson with the World Cup fast approaching but after the trip to New Zealand he will return to club action with Japanese club Ricoh Black Rams.
Their season will finish in January when Haskell will turn his attention to the Super 15 with a club that has not yet been revealed instead of returning for the 2012 RBS 6 Nations.
But Haskell, who left Stade Francais earlier this summer after two impressive campaigns in the Top 14, said: “They appreciate the qualities of the Super 15, they know I am doing it to improve my rugby, and they know I am coming back to Wasps and England.
“Martin says the best move he made was to spend time in New Zealand in his early career.
“I played the best rugby I have ever played in France, I grew up away from the bosom of my family and away from the only club I had ever played for.
“When I went, I was not in the England team and when I came back, I was in the England team.”
