Wales star Stephen Jones insists he's not finished with international rugby yet, as he prepares to win his 100th cap against the Barbarians on June 4th.
The Scarlets fly-half made his debut in 1998 at against South Africa, coming on as a substitute during Wales’ infamous 96-13 thrashing at Loftus Versfeld.

The fly-half, who only made two starts in the RBS 6 Nations this year as he battled with James Hook for the No.10 shirt, is set to equal Gareth Thomas’ record for most Welsh caps.

And Jones, who is seventh on the all-time list of rugby union Test points scorers, won’t follow Thomas’s lead and retire at the century mark.

“I’ve always enjoyed my rugby and the day I stop enjoying it is the day I’ll retire,” he said.

“But at the moment it’s great. I enjoy the rugby environment, I enjoy the working week and I’ll try and keep going.

“I just love playing rugby and that’s been the key factor.

“I’ve been fortunate to work with some fantastic people and enjoyed it and that’s the bottom line for me.

“I was delighted to get on the pitch out in Loftus Versfeld for my first cap.

“Obviously we got hammered that day, but I realised it was a special moment.

“I enjoyed the moment and I wanted to experience it again, having the honour of putting on the Welsh jersey and I’ve been fortunate enough to do that.

“But I definitely couldn’t have imagined this when I won my first cap.”
