Experienced stand-off Diego Dominguez has been named in Italy's 25-man training party for the forthcoming RBS 6 Nations matches with France and Scotland.
Argentina-born Dominguez missed the 40-5 defeat by England at Twickenham after being rested by coach John Kirwan but the 36-year-old returns to the squad which will get together on March 16.
However, the man who is replacing Dominguez as Italy's star player Mauro Bergamasco is missing from the party.
Bergamasco, touted by Kirwan as Italy's Jonah Lomu, was originally named in the starting line-up to play England but pulled out with an injury on the day of the match.
His younger brother Mirco, who scored Italy's try in London, does take his place in the party.
Romania-born Cristian Stoica and another of Italy's Argentinian contingent Santiago Dellape return to the squad.
