Darren Edwards has called on his young Wales stars to go out with a bang against France
Edwards wants to end on a high note

Wales Under-20 coach Darren Edwards has called on his charges to make a statement in their final RBS 6 Nations clash with France in Albi on Friday.
Edwards has made five changes to his side after a 26-26 draw with Ireland last time out, which put an end to their slim hopes of Championship victory.

Thomas Young will make his first Under-20 appearance at openside while Cory Hill comes into the second row.

Rheon James and Liam Williams will slot into the backline at inside centre and wing respectively while Jonathan Evans takes the scrum-half spot.

Philippe Sella’s France need an unlikely set of results to claim the Championship themselves but Edwards believes they will be as tough to beat as any side Wales have played so far.

“This is arguably going to be our biggest test to date,” said the former London Irish scrum half.

”France are a different side depending on whether they play at home or away but this game will give us a new benchmark to see where we are ahead of our world cup preparations.

"Last week's disappointment is already behind us, and this is a final chance for players to put down a marker ahead of the next phase.

“We've got to get back to how we played against Scotland and Italy, with real physicality and intensity that was lacking last weekend. We have to take the game to France and make things happen for us.”
