Mallett changes seven for France

Italy coach Nick Mallett has dropped seven players from the side that faced Wales for the RBS 6 Nations clash against France on Saturday.

Luciano Orquera takes over from Kris Burton at fly-half for the second time in the Championship while Luke McLean makes way for Andrea Masi, who played the last game as a winger, at full-back.

Promising youngster Tommaso Benvenuti is promoted to the wing and Treviso's Gonzalo Garcia comes in to the centre after nearly a year on the sidelines through injury.

In the pack, lock Carlo Antonio Del Fava replaces Quintin Geldenhuys in the second row and Racing Metro duo Andrea Lo Cicero and Carlo Festuccia are caled up to the front row to join forces with tighthead Martin Castrogiovanni.

Italy have never beaten France in the RBS 6 Nations and despite running both Wales and Ireland close at home they are currently bottom of the Six Nations table.
