Arrangements for accredited media at Scotland v Ireland
25 February 2011, 4:25 pm
By Justin Goulding
Arrangements for accredited media at the RBS 6 Nations Championship match: Scotland v Ireland, Murrayfield, Sunday 27 February, kick-off 3pm.
On behalf of Scottish Rugby, the competition sponsor, RBS, and the Scotland team sponsor, Murray, we very much look forward to welcoming accredited media to the Scotland v Ireland match at Murrayfield on Sunday.

There follows a note of arrangements for accredited media:

Media should collect their accreditation passes from the Accreditation Centre adjacent to Murrayfield ice rink.  The accreditation centre is a red-brick building which is accessed via the Riversdale Crescent bridge, off Corstorphine Road, Edinburgh.  Media may collect accreditation passes between 11am and 2.15pm on Sunday.

If you have applied for a series pass for all three Scotland home games this season please ensure you bring that with you to the ground.  If you did not collect it at the Welsh game, please collect it from the accreditation centre.  In any event please retain your pass for the subsequent match against Italy.

Written media will also be required to collect their ticket for their seat in the press box.

Photographers will also collect their bib which will determine whether they have a static or fixed position at the game.  Failure to return the bib at the end of the game will result in you being refused accreditation for any further Scotland matches at Murrayfield. Photographers should also note that we will once again be using the Photographers’ Suite in the South Tunnel and an additional room, the Lower Rowan suite, in the centre of the North Stand.  Please report to the room to which you have been allocated. A photographers' briefing will take place at 2.15pm in each suite.  Please ensure you attend the briefing.

Dedicated media wi-fi will be available in the Bill McLaren Gallery and in both the Photographers’ Suite in the South Tunnel and the room in the Lower Rowan.  Instructions on how to access the wi-fi will be available on Sunday.

Pre-match media hospitality:

Scottish Rugby and RBS will be pleased to welcome accredited media for pre-match hospitality between 12.15 and 2pm on Sunday.

Media should report to a marquee adjacent to Gate D in Saughtonhall Car Park at the north-west corner of the stadium.  Any media requiring assistance to locate the marquee please contact a member of Scottish Rugby’s Communications and Public Affairs Department.

Post-match:

The post-match media conference will take place in the media conference room at the base of the stairwell to the Bill McLaren Press Gallery.

Following the formal post-match media conferences of both teams, selected players from the Scotland team will be available for interviews for written media.
