Heaslip returns to face France

Ireland coach Declan Kidney has resisted the temptation for wholesale changes to his side to face reigning RBS 6 Nations champions France with Jamie Heaslip's inclusion the only alteration.

The Leinster No. 8 returns after missing the narrow 13-11 win in Rome with an ankle problem that has kept him out of action since December.

Denis Leamy is the man to make way as he drops down to the bench at the expense of Shane Jennings.

Sean O’Brien moves to the blindside with David Wallace completing the back row with Cian Healy keeping his place at loosehead.

Ulster’s Tom Court had been pushing for a place with his scrummaging prowess but Kidney has kept faith with Healy despite his struggles against Martin Castrogiovanni.
