Wales v England
All aboard the RBS 6 Nations Express

A chartered train will help rugby fans travel between London and Cardiff for the first RBS 6 Nations game on Friday 4th February 2011.
The RBS 6 Nations Express, a joint venture between RBS, Six Nations Rugby, the RFU and WRU, will enable fans to return to London after the Wales vs England game as the train will depart from Cardiff after the final whistle has been blown.

The RBS 6 Nations Express will not only transport rugby fans but will also deliver the RBS 6 Nations Trophy to the Millennium Stadium. The train will depart from London Paddington Station at approximately 15.00 on Friday 4th February, arriving at Cardiff Central Railway Station at 17.30, allowing plenty of time for fans to soak-up the atmosphere before kick-off at 19.45. The train will then depart at approximately 22.45 from Cardiff returning fans back to London.

Backing the RBS 6 Nations Express, Wales international Matthew Rees said, “From a player’s point of view, having the fans there to support us until the last few seconds of the game keeps us going when we need a boost. The last thing the fans want is to miss the most exciting part of the game, which is often the final 10 minutes and without the train they’d have to miss the action. The RBS 6 Nations Express is a great idea and demonstrates the commitment of RBS, the RFU, WRU and Six Nations to the fans and the game.”

Mark Cueto, England international added: “It always makes a big difference to us to have the support of the England fans. The RBS 6 Nations Express is an affordable way to get to Cardiff and back again and it hopefully means that as many England fans as possible can come and cheer us on.”

Tickets for the RBS 6 Nations Express will be available to buy from Seetickets.com. A return ticket from London Paddington to Cardiff will cost £45 plus booking fee and postal charge. Spaces are limited, so fans are encouraged to book early.
