Mike Blair will hope to bring his Scotland form into the league
Edinburgh bring back Scotland stars

Edinburgh will welcome back Scotland trio Chris Paterson, Ross Rennie and Mike Blair into the starting XV for the Saturday evening Magners League clash with Ospreys.
The game looks to have fought off the threat from the weather and the trio, who helped Scotland to once of their greatest autumn showings, are joined by three international team-mates on the bench.

Ross Ford, Allan Jacobsen and Greig Laidlaw are all named among the replacements along with winger Lee Jones who has shaken off a leg injury.

Edinburgh have enjoyed two wins and a draw from their last two trips to the Ospreys and Rob Moffatt admits the return of his big hitters will help them continue the run.

“We were pleased to win the game last week, but we didn't play anywhere near as well as we know we can,” said Moffatt,

“We know we'll need to be better in a number of areas to beat the reigning champions away from home, but I'm confident we've got it in us to achieve a big result like that."

Centre David Bishop, who spent three years with the Welsh outfit, will make his first Edinburgh start at his old stomping ground.

“I'm delighted to be starting a game for Edinburgh for the first time,” said Bishop.

“Since I came to the club, I've been working hard in training to earn an opportunity like this, and now that it's arrived, I'll be doing everything I can to make it a success.

“I'm looking forward to going back to the Liberty and seeing a few old friends, but what would really make it a memorable occasion is an Edinburgh win.

“If there's any intelligence I can give the boys, or any little insights into what to expect from the Ospreys guys, I'll be more than happy to pass them on.

“Swansea is always a hard place to go and win, but there's a good amount of confidence around the squad at the moment and we're certainly up for the challenge.”
