Moody calls for calm England heads

England captain Lewis Moody is fully prepared to roll up his sleeves for a battle if South Africa come out fighting at Twickenham.
The Springboks infamously used underhand tactics in their heavy 53-3 defeat to England at Twickenham in 2002.

And with South Africa hurting after their shock defeat to Scotland, Moody maintains cool heads will be needed in the heat of the battle.

“Our disciplinary record has been very good and it is critical we keep our cool tomorrow because we have young and enthusiastic players and they have to keep that in check,” said the 32-year-old flanker.

“The South Africans are huge individuals and having lost against Scotland at the weekend they will be even more fired up than ever before

"They play some extremely physical rugby and it will be a very tough challenge. It is crucial in those situations that we keep our cool.

“They are huge men and will have seen the problems Samoa caused us at the break down and will use a similar area of attack.

“We have a young, enthusiastic squad - like I was as a young man - I had my issues in the past where I let my temperament get the better of me and you have to be able to control it on the pitch because it is no use if you let it get away from you."
