Hartley rewarded for impressive display against All Blacks
Hartley gets the nod for Australia clash

Dylan Hartley's swashbuckling performance against New Zealand has done enough to earn him a start against Australia this weekend - boss Martin Johnson's only change.
Hartley’s arrival against the Kiwis on Saturday coincided with the turnaround in England’s fortunes with the Northampton hooker powering over for a try – his first in the Red Rose jersey.

With the Australian scrum shown to be fallible in their win against Wales last weekend Johnson will be looking for a repeat performance from the Saints captain.

England head into the clash looking to start where they left off against the Wallabies in Sydney this summer, where they claimed a famous 21-20 victory.

Leeds Carnegie hooker Steve Thompson is the man to make way for Hartley in Johnson’s only amendment to the team that went down 26-16 to the All Blacks.

The only other change comes among the replacements with London Wasps lock Simon Shaw getting the nod ahead of Gloucester’s Dave Attwood.

Despite the concerns about his fitness after a headbutt incident with Kiwi Kevin Mealamu on Saturday, skipper Lewis Moody will captain the side for the fifth consecutive game.

England: Ben Foden, Chris Ashton, Mike Tindall, Shontayne Hape, Mark Cueto, Toby Flood, Ben Youngs, Andrew Sheridan, Dylan Hartley, Dan Cole, Courtney Lawes, Tom Palmer, Tom Croft, Lewis Moody, Nick Easter.

Replacements: Steve Thompson, David Wilson, Simon Shaw, Hendre Fourie, Danny Care, Charlie Hodgson, Delon Armitage.
