And Ospreys coach Sean Holley while disappointed with his side’s loss to the Warriors couldn’t shy away from the seriousness of Byrne’s knock.

“We missed an opportunity against Glasgow, we had hoped to narrow the gap on the leaders but have been left frustrated and annoyed,” said Holley.

“And Lee had a bump on the hand and could not continue and we will have to wait and see what happens there.”
