Lawrence Dallaglio has warned England to beware of a "wounded animal" when they face Wales in next Saturday's RBS 6 Nations clash.
Steve Hansen's side are licking their wounds after the 30-22 defeat against Italy while England are contemplating the next step in a potential Grand Slam.
But the Wasps back-row believes the Welsh will devour any signs of English arrogance.
He said: "Going away against a wounded Welsh team, we know that there is nothing like the English to raise their spirits.
"We will give the Welsh every respect," added Dallaglio, who could make the England starting line-up after flanker Lewis Moody injured his left shoulder at Twickenham on Saturday.
