Top 14 club Perpignan claimed they were in ‘advanced’ talks with the centre last week but Hook admits his future is far from being confirmed.

Ospreys face London Irish in the Heineken Cup this week and Hook admits that match has got his full focus.

“It’s just talk,” said Hook. “When players are out of contract there is always speculation, it’s going to happen.

“It doesn’t bother me. I’ve said I am going to make a decision in the next month or so.

“My main concern was getting back on the pitch and getting games under my belt to be fit for the autumn.

“It’s not affecting me at all and in time I will make a decision.”
