Ruaridh Jackson
Jackson returns to the starting XV after dropping to the bench last weekend
Restored Jackson set to stake No.10 claim

Rookie fly-half Ruaridh Jackson has promised to grab his opportunity with both hands after being handed the No.10 shirt for the Heineken Cup visit of Newport Gwent Dragons.
The 22-year-old dropped to the bench for the Magners League game against Ulster last weekend after starting the opening three games of the season.

But Jackson’s inclusion in the only change to the side which narrowly lost 19-17 to Ulster at Ravenhill.

And the Scotland A international has vowed to repay the faith shown in him by coach Sean Lineen.

“On a personal level, it’s great just to be picked to start again,” said Jackson. “It’s a good vote of confidence.

“Myself and (fellow fly-half) Duncan (Weir) understood Sean’s intentions at the start of the season to let us both have game-time and to develop, but of course you want to play and you want to start, and especially when it comes to the Heineken Cup.

“It was good to get out together and just spend a little time talking about the competition in a social way really rather than in an analysis room, which we've done plenty of as well.

“The guys spoke about the big wins they have had, such as Toulouse out there, Gloucester last season here, Biarritz and Bourgoin so I’m looking forward to playing.”
