But O’Driscoll and Heaslip have both impressed the Rebels and assistant coach Damien Hill confirmed the club are looking to add the duo to their ranks following next year’s World Cup.

“Brian is an amazing footballer and, if he were to express an interest, we’d be more than happy to have a chat,” said Rebels coach Hill.

“He’s such a high-quality player who sets high standards for himself and has good leadership skills too.

“Jamie’s a great player and of course we’d be interested in having a chat with him too.”
