The atmosphere is set to be extremely high and tense. France are capable of the best as well as the worst but the highest pressure is to be on England. Guys like Jonny Wilkinson have not won anything, neither a Grand Slam nor a World Cup in the past three years and they will be eager to break that negative routine.

The French meanwhile are the defending champions, it will be a hard test for them but the consequences of a possible defeat should not be too nasty. Their main objective is to focus on the quality of their game. They however have that spark, which, when mixed up with basics of the game such as a good conquest, a stable scrum and a well-organised touch line, can scare any team.

Bernard Laporte's men have also been putting on a new face in the past two years, they are more regular and more disciplined. England's game is different, they are more like a steamroller, they have an extremely high confidence in themselves.

Their game is not as attractive as the French because it is based on patience, an iron defence and an obvious will to tire up their rivals as much as they can before they charge.

The English will want to win so much on Saturday with Wilkinson likely to make sure not to be as paralysed by Serge Betsen as he was last year at the Stade de France and I am expecting him to play a more deeper game. Ben Cohen and Jason Robinson are also players to watch. I am also wary of the number nine who could have a more provocative role.
