Cusiter a major Scotland tour doubt
1 June 2010, 9:26 am
By Sportsbeat
Scotland boss Andy Robinson could face further disruption ahead of his side's summer tour to Argentina as doubts over the fitness of scrum-half and skipper Chris Cusiter continue to rumble on.
Cusiter was due to start against a Japanese Select XV at Murrayfield tonight but an injury to his knee suffered more than a month ago on Glasgow duty refuses to clear-up.

Former skipper Mike Blair takes his place against Japan, with the Scotland squad flying out to Argentina on Friday.

However, Robinson insisted that at this stage he still expects Cusiter to make the flight.

Flanker Alan MacDonald is also out of tonight's game with an abdominal injury and he is, similarly, in a race against time to make the tour.
