England struggle against Baa Baas
31 May 2010, 10:05 am
By Sportsbeat/News Associates
England boss Martin Johnson refused to be downcast despite seeing his side desperately hang on to a 35-26 win against the Barbarians at Twickenham to lift the MasterCard Trophy.
England were helped into an early 20-0 lead by converted tries from James Haskell and Shontayne Hape.

Paul Sackey crossed for the Baa-Baas before Ben Foden and Mike Tindall made it 32-7 just after the break.

But the Baa-Baas hit back and scores from David Smith, Census Johnston and Sackey had England alarm bells ringing.

"The game became loose at times and there's a danger that you'll get sucked in and lose shape," said Johnson.

"We have got to be smarter and shouldn't have gone into some of the areas that we did."
