Centre Brian O'Driscoll insists Leinster domestic success in today's Magners League grand final against Ospreys can make up for their European disappointments.
Leinster go in to the clash at the RDS Arena aiming to win their third Celtic league title, having previously lifted the trophy in 2001 and 2008.

Leinster, who won the Heineken Cup in 2009, failed to progress past the semi-final stage as they were defeated by eventual champions Toulouse.

But O’Driscoll said: “I’m really looking forward to this massive game against the Ospreys.

“The Magners League is our bread and butter in terms of a league format and no one is going to feel short changed from the season if we manage to win our third trophy in three years.

“Trust me when I say, this matters a great deal to us as players. We have had to work very hard to get to a final and all we require is one more high-quality performance to top off another successful year.”

Michael Cheika’s side will be without the services of influential captain Leo Cullen, who misses out with a shoulder injury, meaning flanker Shane Jennings will be handed the armband.

Bank of Ireland player of the year Jamie Heaslip will start at No.8 and there will be a farewell appearance from lock Malcolm O’Kelly who in retiring from rugby after the game.
