Nick Easter has been named skipper for England's MasterCard Trophy clash with the Barbarians at Twickenham.
The Harlequins No. 8 takes the captaincy duties from the Lewis Moody, who is on duty with Leicester Tigers for the Guinness Premiership final against Saracens.

Easter is one of ten survivors from the squad that lost to France in the final match of this year’s RBS 6 Nations but there is a recall for Sale Sharks fly-half Charlie Hodgson after an international exile of two years.

Bath centre Shontayne Hape is preferred to club teammate at inside centre and makes his first start for England alongside Newcastle Falcons prop Jon Golding and Gloucester lock Dave Attwood.

Prop Paul Doran-Jones and flanker Steffon Armitage are also recalled while Wasps duo Dan Ward-Smith and Joe Simpson must wait for their chance from the bench.

Manager Martin Johnson has also named an eye-catching back three of Ben Foden at full-back and Mark Cueto and David Strettle on the wings.
