Stuart Hogg has represented Scotland at Under-18 and Under-17 level, and played for Borders Under-16s and Under-17s. Before joining Heriot's he played for Hawick Wanderers, and now turns out for Hawick.

Stuart is on a base rugby course at Borders College and is a former Player of the Year with Scotland Under-17s. His brother, Graha, has played for Scotland in the IRB Sevens World Series as well as representing his country at Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20. Their father, John, played for Hawick before becoming a referee.

Stuart captained Scotland Under-18 against Wales following a man-of-the-match performance against France the previous week.
