Lecouls was a mainstay of the front row during the autumn and was very impressive in the defeat to Australia where France completely destroyed the Wallaby scrum. He is an experienced club campaigner and appears to be revelling in the late chance to make an impression at Test level. Lecouls rejoined Toulouse in the summer after four years at Biarritz.
