Adam Jones was initially used as an impact player after making his Wales debut against England in 2003. Then head coach Steve Hansen claimed he was not fit enough to last a full 80 minutes. But Jones was an ever-present in the 2005 Grand Slam campaign, and has been a key figure as Wales have attempted to improve their scrummaging over recent years. Jones started his career with Neath before moving to the Ospreys. As a youngster he once kicked 26 points in a club game.
